Audeze has announced Maxwell 2, the latest version of its premium wireless gaming headset for PC and consoles. The new model builds on the success of the original Maxwell with upgrades to audio performance, comfort, microphone quality, and connectivity.

Maxwell 2 introduces Audeze’s new SLAM™ spatial audio technology, paired with 90mm planar magnetic drivers, delivering a wide 10 Hz–50 kHz frequency range with improved spatial accuracy and low distortion. The headset is designed to help players better identify in-game details such as positioning and movement, while maintaining powerful bass and immersion.

Comfort updates include a redesigned suspension strap, new ear pads with increased space, and a magnetic attachment system for easy replacement. Communication is handled by an upgraded AI noise-canceling boom microphone using FILTER™ AI technology for clearer voice transmission.

Connectivity options include an ultra-low latency USB-C wireless dongle and Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio and LDAC support. Battery life exceeds 80 hours, supported by USB-C fast charging. Maxwell 2 also debuts a new Audeze app for customization across desktop and mobile platforms.
