The wait is over — the Venos stereo bus compressor has officially arrived!
Built on the foundation of classic vintage tube compressors, Venos preserves that iconic sound while adding modern innovations, including SPL’s 120V technology and two new hyper-compression modes. Every control uses switches or detented knobs, with single-element stereo operation for intuitive handling. After extensive listening tests, the parameters were refined to ensure that simply engaging Venos adds width, depth, and power to any stereo signal.
A Special Release
This product marks an important milestone for the SPL team. The initial design came quickly, but perfecting the behavior and musicality of each parameter took time — the goal was a truly great, easy-to-use analog 120V stereo bus compressor with a massive sound.
During this process, the team developed two unique compression behaviors based on negative ratios, resulting in the new Focus and Punch hyper-compression modes — unlike anything previously available.
